For those who don't know who she is (which appears to be most people), she's appeared Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream; alongside Keira Knightley in The Duchess; in TV miniseries such as The Prisoner, The Pillars of the Earth and Any Human Heart; and will be seen later this year in Captain America: The First Avenger.

My final painting of Rupert Everett's portrayal of Sherlock Holmes, done for February's E-Caricatures challenge.

I wanted it to feel like a Victorian portrait, and it is largely based on a painting by John Singer Sargent (hence the apology at the bottom).

I wanted to try something a bit more stylized and angular than usual, as I thought it would fit with his chiseled features.

After a jovial Santa last week, a grumpy old Scrooge, done for the monthly challenge on E-Caricatures. Rather than the near definitive Alistair Sim version, I decided to have a go at Patrick Stewart's take on the character.
