I always find it difficult to draw iconic characters such as Batman, because there are so many versions by so many artists that I like. This is the closest I've come to MY ideal Batman.

Silver Screen Men of Steel part 1

70 years ago this month, in June 1938, Action Comics issue 1 was published, featuring the debut appearance of the first and best superhero character - Superman.

Here are portraits of the first two actors to portray the Man of Steel in live action, Kirk Alyn and George Reeves, and the actress who played Lois Lane opposite both of them, Noel Neill:

He also directed the first episode of the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" TV show.
