Scrooge

After a jovial Santa last week, a grumpy old Scrooge, done for the monthly challenge on E-Caricatures. Rather than the near definitive Alistair Sim version, I decided to have a go at Patrick Stewart's take on the character.

The "Real" Santa

Edmund Gwenn in the original Miracle on 34th Street. Best movie Santa ever. Fact.
Merry Christmas to all my followers and anyone who randomly stumbles across this post.

Martin Freeman

A caricature sketch of actor Martin Freeman, from the original UK version of The Office, the movie version of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, the recent BBC series Sherlock, and soon to be seen as a young Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit

Alex Reid

Cage fighter, Reality TV star and lummox Alex Reid, best known for his association with Katie (Jordan) Price.

Laura Vandervoort

A sketch of V and Smallville star Laura Vandervoort.

Tamara Drewe (Gemma Arterton)

A caricature sketch of British actress Gemma Arterton as the title character in the movie Tamara Drewe.

Jamie Lee Curtis

I've caricatured her father and mother this month, and she's the subject of the current E-Caricatures challenge, so I just had to give her a go.
Unfortunately, I only had time for a sketch, but hopefully I'll get round to a more polished take on her at some point in the near future.

Janet Leigh

The late Hollywood star, former wife of Tony Curtis and mother to Jamie Lee Curtis.

Cher Lloyd

A sketch of one of this year's X-Factor contestants, Cher Lloyd.

Tony Curtis 1925 - 2010

A tribute to the recently deceased Hollywood legend.

Debbie Harry

A caricature of the Blondie lead singer.

Captain James T Quack

Done for one of the weekly challenges on the ImagineFX website, which I won. The mock brief was as follows:
"Stardate: some time in the future via a 3d animated television programme. Captain James Tinnitus Quack is the heroic commander of the Starship Interpond. Loosely based on a similarly named captain from some TV show called Star Trek, this cartoon duck travels the intergalactic pond battling aliens, righting wrongs, and seducing green lady ducks."
"Paint a colour, full body portrait of the Captain."

Peter Weller

A caricature from a few months ago of the Robocop star.

Jessica 6

A companion piece to my Michael York - Jenny Agutter as Jessica 6 in Logan's Run.

Logan 5

A sketch of Michael York as Logan in the 1976 sci-fi movie Logan's Run

Young Sherlock Holmes

The 1985 Barry Levinson movie Young Sherlock Holmes was on TV yesterday. It's not a great movie, although entertaining enough, but the actor who played Holmes - Nicholas Rowe - had an interesting face, so I did a quick sketch of him.

Salma Hayek

For a challenge at E-Caricatures. I originally did it in black and white, then added some colours. I think I still prefer the original.

Trump

Done for a Wittygraphy challenge. I initially had no real interest in caricaturing him, as he's been done so often, but when I started I quite enjoyed it.

Sherlock

A caricature of Benedict Cumberbatch, the title star of the BBC's fantastic new Sherlock TV series.

Ruth Wilson

A caricature sketch of the british actress, recently seen in the remake of The Prisoner and the BBC detective series Luther.
