Aishwarya Rai WIP part 2

The next two stages of my caricature

Aishwarya Rai WIP

The first couple of stages of a caricature of the Bollywood actress and former Miss World
Below is an older sketch, when I was trying to figure out the exaggerations.

Kandyse McClure

A caricature sketch of actress Kandyse McClure, best known for playing Anastasia Dualla in modern Battlestar Galactica.

Kirk Douglas

Native American girls

A couple of sketches based on photographs by Edward S Curtis (1868 - 1952) of some Native American girls.

Being Human sketches

Some quick sketches of the three main cast members of the BBC's excellent supernatural drama Being Human.
Aidan Turner as Mitchell, a vampire.

Lenora Crichlow as Annie, a ghost.

Russell Tovey as George, a werewolf.

Eddie Marsan

A caricature sketch of British character actor Eddie Marsan. You may not know the name, but have probably seen his face in various movies and TV shows, usually playing some untrustworthy character or other.
He can currently be seen (at time of writing this blog entry) as Inspector Lestrade in Sherlock Holmes.

Random Girl Sketches

Two Whos

A caricature sketch of the outgoing Doctor Who, David Tennant (who I seem to draw a lot), and a first attempt at his replacement, Matt Smith.

Sherlock Holmes - Jeremy Brett

With the new Robert Downey Jnr movie currently in cinemas, I thought I'd have a go at caricaturing the finest screen incarnation of Arthur Conan Doyle's famous detective - Jeremy Brett.
Below are some stages:

Terry Carter caricature sketch

Another caricature from the original Battlestar Galactica - Terry Carter as Colonel Tigh.

Wooly Hat

Great Scots No6 (b) - Gordon Ramsay

The finished Gordon Ramsay caricature

Great Scots No6 (a) - Gordon Ramsay

A couple of caricature sketches of the culinary world's foul-mouthed prince of darkness.
