Henry Jones Jnr and Snr

A sketch of Harrison Ford and Sean Connery as Indiana Jones and his father Henry.

Stages:

Final (black & white and toned versions):

Anna

A portrait of the actress Anna Friel from "Pushing Daisies" (and "Brookside" for any Brits).

Stages:

Final:

Charles Martin Smith Caricature

A caricature of the actor and director Charles Martin Smith, probably best known for his roles in "American Graffiti", "The Untouchables" and "Starman".

He also directed the first episode of the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" TV show.

The Ripper

An illustration of the most notorious serial killer of all - Jack the Ripper.

The initial rough sketch:

The finished image. I decided to change the angle to a low level to make him more imposing, and to have him visually block the escape route (based on Miller's Court, the scene of his final killing)

Ray Wise Caricature

A caricature of the actor Ray Wise.

Giovanni Ribisi Caricature

A caricature of the actor Giovanni Ribisi

Clea DuVall Caricature

Another caricature, this time of the actress Clea DuVall.

Stages:

And the final:

Willem Dafoe Caricature

My Ron Perlman caricature seemed to prove popular, so I've decided to do more. This one is the actor Willem Dafoe.

Some stages:

And the final:

Wolverine again...

A collaboration between artist Rodolphe Guenoden and myself. Rod did the sketch, I did the colours.

More Sophia

Some other Sophia Loren pictures I've done in the last month, of varying time and quality:

This one is my favourite:

Sophia

A portrait of italian movie star Sophia Loren.

I'd say she's probably the person I've found most difficult to get a decent likeness of so far. I'm still not entirely satisfied with this one.

Here are various stages along the way:

And the final:

This is also the first in a occasional series of European Actresses

Ron Perlman Caricature

It's been quite a while since I tried my hand at caricaturing, but I felt like giving it a shot.

Even though it has some resemblence to Will Ferrell, it's actually Ron (Hellboy) Perlman.

Magua

A portrait of the actor Wes Studi as the character Magua in "Last of the Mohicans"

Rihanna... take 2

After my previous sketches based on Rihanna came out nothing like her (largely due to the self-imposed 30 minute time constraint), I decided to do a proper portrait of her.

I've got a reputation for likenesses to uphold, after all.

Three stages in the process:

... and the final. I'm pretty happy with how it came out.
